Busy, Busy, Busy.

Ok so I started class in February, and now several later I wonder if maybe I haven't bitten off more than I can chew for 10 months. I'm 100% enjoying every class night, I don't think I've ever been so challenged in a learning environment. For the first time in my life I'm working on something that interests me AND I don't really know anything about the subject. Yeah a lot of it is common sense but you have to actually break it down into common sense. I actually have to study, for a standardized test, I think this is a first also. I've always been a standardized test taker. As long as I've looked at the materials I can pretty much pass. While I seem to be having an easier time than most people in the class it's still a challenge with every test. Did I mention we have anywhere from 1 to 2 tests a week?

I think the hardest part of all this so far are the hours. I've adjusted my work hours from 7 to 4. so I really kinda show up at 6:30 and leave at 3:45, and working 45 minutes away from the house now it's kinda rough. It's almost impossible to find time to work everything into the 3 days I don't have class, especially with a standing Sunday afternoon study group. It seems to be the hardest to get the small things done like getting my hair cut, mowing the lawn on Saturday, or really doing much of anything other than relaxing. If it wasn't for my wife I think the house would fall down around our ears and the cat would revoke our sleeping privileges due to the lack of attention. 7 months and 2 days, and counting....
