End of an Age
Ok yet again I've been made to feel old by my co workers. Really I'm note even over the age of being trusted. Though YET AGAIN I've said "So Blah Blah Blah died" or "made a new album" or "got arrested again". The response I get is "Who!?!?!" and of course I just sigh, "never mind".
What the hell is wrong with kids today they don't watch George Carlin?!?!? Who is their great comedian? Sure as hell isn't Jim Carry. Mildly entertaining actor? Maybe. But he's not a Comedian. Comedy has always held a special place in my heart. Especially stand up. We have the greats; Robin Williams, Eddi izzard, Eddie Murphy, Bill Cosby, Richard Pryor Sam Kinnison. For me George Carlin falls right in with all of them. or should I say Fell... I mean really there is no up and comming Comic's making a big splash right now, no house hold name. Who's gonna make fun of the politicians and the masses? Ok you have people like Lewis Black, sure he's funny, but he does not fill the Shoes of the others I've listed. We have 3 outa the 5 I've listed still alive and only one of these still even does stand up. Please feel free to correct me if you like. *flips the switch on the comments* HA!

I loved George Carlin. We had HBO growing up and my parents would watch all his specials, so we watched them too. My favorite bit he did would be stuff like, "Greenland has ice, Iceland is green!" He will be missed. And yes, we're old.
Pull up their pants and get the hell off my lawn!
